This article explains what Dataset IDs are and how to find them.
Within each Standardize project, you will have a number of datasets. Each one of these datasets has its own unique ID number.
For most day-to-day tasks these numbers are not needed, but if you are setting up an API, you will need to know them and how to retrieve them.
How to locate Dataset IDs
There are numerous ways to obtain the IDs for all your datasets, below are details on how to find them.
Bulk Upload Workflow
The simplest way to locate the Dataset IDs, is to use Import workflow. Once logged into your Accutics project, navigate to Import on the left hand bar. This will then show a bubble where you can import your Standardize template to create numerous records. From this bubble, you can also download the template.
Hit the Download button to download the Standardize Excel template for this particular project.
The sheet should open automatically. The sheet will have a column for each dataset in that project, the title of each column can be found in row 5. The Dataset ID for each of these can be found in Row 2 of each column.
Project Configuration
Dataset IDs can also be found within the Configuration section of your project in both the input and output sections of your project.
Note: The Settings area of the project, where the configuration can be found is only open to Project Managers and Admins.
Input Fields
First, under the Set Up menu navigate to Settings -> Configuration -> Input Fields
This will open up the page where you configure the input form for your project. To find the dataset IDs, first open up the dataset you need the ID from. Once the dataset is open, click on the Edit Dataset option, which will then open up the settings page for that dataset. Click on the meatball menu on the Dataset Options tab, and you will see the option to copy the dataset ID.
Output Fields - Field IDs
The Field IDs can be found in the Output fields section of the project. To find these you need to go to Settings -> Configuration -> Output Fields. Open the Output you need the field IDs from, click on the meatball menu to right and select Copy Field ID.
