Adding a new validation rule

From the project `Overview´:


  • Find the source > … > `Validation rules´ > `Add a validation rule´ from the list of validation rules

 

  • Find the source > Click on it > Scroll down to the validation rules table > `Add a validation rule´

 

 

 



Editing a validation rule

From the project `Overview´:


  • Find the source > … > `Validation rules´ > Select a validation rule from the list on the left > Edit > `Save and close´


  • Find the source > Click on it > `Settings´ on the right > Select a validation rule from the list on the left > Edit > `Save and close´

 

  • Find the source > Click on it > Scroll down to the validation rules table > Find the validation rule > Click on it > `Settings´ on the top right > Edit > `Save and close´

 

  • Find the source > Click on it > Scroll down to the validation rules table > Find the validation rule > … > `Edit´ > Edit > `Save and close´

 

 

 

 


Deleting a validation rule

From the project `Overview´:

 

  • Find the source > … > `Validation rules´ > Select a validation rule from the list on the left > … > `Delete´ > `Save and close´

 

  • Find the source > Click on it > Scroll down to the validation rules table > Find the validation rule > … > `Delete´

Deactivating vs deleting

Deletion

Deleting a validation rule permanently deletes all the configurations and data related to it. 

 

Deactivation

Deactivating the validation rule corresponds to archiving it. The validation rule configuration and data are saved but it is not available for validation runs and will not show stats.

 

You can restore the validation rule from `Inactive´ to `Active´ at any moment.
